I was going through some old photos and found this. It was taken in 1958 at the Houston Fat Stock Show & Rodeo. I was 4 years old and my hero Roy Rogers was the star. I can still remember the night. I shook hands with him and got to pet Trigger.

Great picuture. Brings back memories. My hero was Fred Kirby. Did something similar. Waited in line for hours to meet him in person and when I was about 10 people from shaking his hand he left. I wasn't a happy camper.

For those who aren't familiar with him.

Oh weren't you cute! Brings back memories of when my mom would take me to the rodeo and i'd get all "dressed up" for the occasion.

Thanks for sharing.

When I retired they gave me a Roy Roger's Chuckwagon lunch kit and played Happy Trail's.
I have no clue where they found it or what they paid for it.
I was bad to say this or that was going to be tougher than Roy Roger's .
