I have no problems with small calves.
Live calves grow, dead ones don't.
I also find it easier to sell a live one than a dead one.

Can't argue with you there and if you looked at the EPD's of the sire's BW it is -4.5. I'm used to calves being 80-90 lbs.

Dang what a rear end that one has.

(and 90 lb calves scare me--65-75 lbs are more to my liking.)
