My daughter's Maine heifer. Does she look any different with a trim job? She won grand champion main at her last show.

This is her hereford. Thought I'd post a picture after she had been clipped. She doesn't have a horn growing out of her head-it's a branch in the background. Looks kinda funny.

They look nice. I'd like to see both of them a little deeper-sided. Don't get me wrong they look fantasic. How'd the Hereford place? What's here breeding (I'm sure you've mentioned it before)?

Farmwife-I will have to get the Herefords papers out tonight-can't remember. The kids didn't start on their herefords until late last summer, so they were just pulled off the pasture. The hereford was the only one in her class, but when they put her in for breed champion she didn't do that good. There were 4 herefords from a major breeder and they were nice-ours didn't stand a chance. Hopefully we can breed up. If you want to see a deep heifer look under breeds at my post "due any day now".

Farmwife-I just got home and got ahold of the papers on the hereford. On her sires side-we have Square-D Edge 694D-sired by Perryville Peterbilt 59N, also H L1 Rival 1058 1ET. On her dam's side is Boyd Heavy Hitter 4007 who is sired by Feltons 517, also JR Big T Impact x417. I am not that familiar with the Hereford bloodlines, so don't know how popular these are, although I am familiar with Feltons 517.
