I have 2 three month old calves, both Holstein. One of them doesn't moo and seems to have respiratory problems. If cows could have asthma I would say he does. He coughs (more like a bark type of cough) and wheezes when breathing. We are still bottling feeding and he can't get through a bottle without having to stop to "cough". We see him eat his grain and hay but he was the bigger of the two calves and is now the smaller. He has energy and is very playful but I am getting concern with his coughing and not mooing. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do??????
