I personally like this bull calf so far.
Just hit 80 days and I'm no good at baby weights and don't have a scale yet. born @73 lbs off of an older sire AI.
Any thoughts or criticisms welcomed.
He's only 80 days and not near there, just one to kick around a bit.
Thanks.
Chris

All I can say is this one is more bull at three months than some bulls posted here will ever be.

Can't see his libido, fertility, or temperament. He don't look like Johnny Cash's Cadillac from one piece at a time, though.

At this stage, I appreciate his growth, bone, and muscling.
I'd like to see him a little less set in his rear legs, more extended in his front and perhaps less bold in his shoulder.

I think he would make a very nice commercial bull for someone looking for growth and muscling traits.

Here's a broadside. Sire is Kimolong Andamooka, a Son of Roman Invasion

Here's momma last spring. I'll get a new pic today sometime.

Thanks for the responses.

73 lbs at birth and he looked like 60 lbs of legs, a snake. So I'm not too concerned with the shoulders. He started blocking up and thickening at about 5 days. I haven't had many that express like that as early as he has. That's one of the reasons I posted him. He's been interesting to watch develop to me.
I like him now because he's square and wide so I'm not sure what you mean by extended in his front. And "less set in his rear legs", does that mean you think he is post legged?
Thanks

Thanks for the comments everyone.
JW, I crop those pix pretty close. My little place and herd has come a long way from where I started, but it's further from finished than I'd like.
Appreciate what you're saying very much though.
Thanks,
Chris
