I just heard fats are bringing $77 any thoughts?
You and some others have gone out of your way on several different posts to make me aware of how dumb I am and how much smarter you and they are when it comes to cattle than I am. I would really like to help you learn something, however as so many have pointed out to me I'm dumb, Dumb can't teach smart, but smart can teach dumb so thats why I'm here, to learn. I just learned that fat cattle are bringing $77.expensive hobby":1mozw6dr said:I think that you need a badge after your name for "cattle expert". Then again, if you know everything then please tell why you are on this board? Please explain your point about the price for finished beef instead of putting people down for being wrong. I'll tell everyone ahead of time.....I am a newbie with raising beef. I am learning everyday. I'll tell you my experiences and you tell me yours.
Kenny to be honest, on account of me being so stupid I'm not sure what the deal is, but I guess at certain loacations in SW Pennsylvania fat cattle are bringing $77. Now SE Pennsylvania fat buyers are not aware of this yet, as they are still paying $120, but I hope they find out soon because they are losing there *sses on that deal.kenny thomas":26g3gvfe said:Ah he?? i will bite. Whats the line of the $77 fats?
thankfully I'm dumb and I would never think of copying and pasting the pm where you very specifically said finished steers were bringing $77. maybe it's not me being dumb, but I've just had enough fun for tonight. I'll copy and paste the pm's tomorrow night.expensive hobby":2rkfould said:LN_LS147

I personally do not like to sell there because you are at the mercy of the bidders. If I can finish a few steers and sell them for a reasonable price then whats the problem? I just had someone buy a half off of me. He was charged $2.50/lb packaged, not on the rail. He has been raving about how good it is and he is extremely satisfied. And I did not even need to worry about a "grade." Does not matter as long as the customer is satisfied.
