I looking for a 45LC. Nothing fancy, just a good solid wheel gun. Hoping to not have to spend Ruger type money, but not sure what else is out there.

Thanks!
I have a Heritage 22/22mag that I've always been happy with. And I don't care if it has blemishes, I want to carry it when I walk fences.

If you were a little closer I got a nice Uberti Cattleman that would fit you perfect!😂 It is a really nice gun. Like most things right now finding one will be the trick. Ruger Vaquero or Blackhawk is hard to beat even if they are a few dollars more.

Good buddy of mine has the Heritage LC45 and likes it a lot. Good gun to carry around in the sxs and for dispatching hogs in a trap, but kinda expensive for that now. I got a Rossi .357 nickel with 6” barrel for the same chores and it does fine. Wanted a .44 mag, but I’m too cheap. Couldn’t justify spending $800 for one, plus a have a .357 lever action, so one less ammo to stock.

Contemplating a 357, then I could use 38spl on raccoons, skunks, and such.
Found a couple used Ruger Black hawks. Still $700 though.

Yep, that is why I went with the Rossi. $400 new a few years ago. I think Rossi bought Taurus or vice versa. I wanted something that I did not have to worry about getting wet or scuffed up and it fit the bill.

I think my favorite Blackhawk was my 6 1/2 inch .357.

Only Blackhawk I have now is a .41 Mag

Good all purpose single action.

700!! For a Blackhawk???
Good grief!

I'd tell what I gave for mine, but that'd show my age I guess...

Edit!
That ol 30 carbine was a fun Blackhawk too. MUST have ear protection!
