45 days ago was our calving due date. We have 2 left to go and they could calve anytime so I’d say the vet did a pretty good job.

I bought cows at the sale based on February March calving. I have 5 left to go out of 60 cows. The vet may have been wrong on 10%. Two cows that came from the same ranch I bought in January. In mid January the vet called them both 7 months bred. One calved March 31. The other shows no sign of calving any time soon.

Well, because we don’t pull bulls we rely on the vet for cut off. I’d say she did a good job.I would give more credit to bulls……
