4+inches of rain this week . Much needed but hay already affected . Hit level 3 drought in front of the rain . USDA sent out message about forage assistance .

We have gotten nearly that much this week...over 3". Wish I could send it to SE Ga where the fires are.

WOW... we got .15 inch total over the 2 days .... sprinkles and lt showers, not "RAIN".... it has been very breezy, but at least it is not hot... actually cool in the 50's and 60's...
But we need some serious slow all day soaking rain...
Hay is 12-18 inches, when it ought to be knee high 2-3 feet... Heading out already and it is thin also.

We had 1.5 inches in April. B said his drought insurance wont pay anything because that is double the normal amount.
We got over 4 inches this week. And best of all, SE Ga where the wildfires are, got a monsoon night before last!
