I think KIttitas County 4-H and FFA kids get the highest bids on their market animal of any county in the great state of Washington. This is raw data, and I don't have the number of entries per species dialed in yet (each 4-H or FFA exhibitor, regardless of entries, had to pick ONE for the auction). Following are the $$ verages/per lb:

Beef: $3.22/lb.
Swine: 2.98/lb.
Goats: $4.90/lb.
Sheep: $4.42/lb.

I am pretty sure that your steers brought a higher average than ours did but our pigs did better than yours. Sheep and goats?

Dave, I'm too old for 4H/FFA, and don't have kids or grandkids in the program. The figures I posted are what was reported in the local newspaper. And these were the averages, across the board, for each species. That's all I can tell 'ya. They did post ALL the auction prices, but have not sorted through them to get the high and low for each.
