4 acres need help

I have 4 acres in NW FL to plant. Is it to late for rye? I have a 400lb steer I'm feeding to sell. This will be a new pasture. Should I plant now and in the spring(rye then bahaia) or should I save my money on the rye and buy more food?

Plant the ryegrass. It has plenty time in your area. We planted it a couple yrs ago the 1st week in Nov and had a beautiful stand.
Sacked feed will break you.

Put out the extra money and get the perineal (sp?) rather than the annual if you can.Rye is a good grass. ;-) :cboy:

plant the rye. we plant 300 acres of winter annuals each year and havent started yet. will get it done next week when cows get out of peanut fields.
