380 Case Constuction King Tips ?

Looking at a yellow 1970s model with 1405 hours on it to use with a back blade, rake, or rock wagon. No FEL or back hoe included.

Any experience with this tractor made by David Brown for Case?

I think that 380 is a Case. It probably has the 188 diesel which was a good motor. With only 1405 hours if it's had any care at all, it should be good.

I have a 70 something 480CK--a kajillion hrs (surplus Liberty County equipment) The 188 engine itself pretty much bulletproof and easy starting, but the front motor mounts will bear some watching--pretty weak rubber IMO--I've changed mine twice in the last 4 years. Loader and backhoe on mine--a rough riding sucker if ever there was one.

I see the far right (unlabeled) red warning light is on. What is this for?

Means "key on" on my machine, but it has a hacked up electrical system.
