Seems as though my blower motor has gone a little wonky. One minute it'll blow your hat off and the next it's at an idle. Can't find a pattern, but it's always cold air. Relay maybe?

I believe you'll find a blower motor resistor mounted in the top of the evap housing under the hood on passenger side. Could be that...

Never had a GM system that I didn't quit throwing money at before I retired the truck. My 03 wouldn't blow on high. Then the clutch started slipping at low rpm. Had a new compressor put on and after the 3rd orifice blew 3 minutes after leaving the shop I once again gave up trying.

Been reading and the resistor seems to stand out for this kind of problem. Looks to be a $30+ part. Guess I'll start there. Thanks for the ideas.

Vette~ I only have 112k on this one and this is the first problem I've had that a warranty didn't cover. Guess I'm the lucky one.

I guess this may be a dumb question but does the A/C control have an "automatic" position? Mine does and when it gets to temperature the fan motor slows down. You can bypass by going to manual mode.
