I am really impressed with these In Focus x 1/2 blood Gelbvieh calves...
They have been up within 15 minutes looking for the "faucet" and very vigorous. They seem to have good legs under them and look like they should have a lot of butt. So far, 12 out of 42 on the ground and running, NO assistance, and pairing up well.

Bright eyed and bushy tailed, look like they are off to a great start. I really like it when a calf is vigorous and lively as soon as it hits the ground, too.
