1998 Chevy AC problem

I have an interesting question. My AC on my 1998 Chevy 2500 went out. When the ABS light on the dash comes on the AC shuts off. When the ABS light goes off, the AC works again. Anybody ever heard of this. I replaced the control unit on the dash but that didn't work.

Probably the electrical ignition switch. NOT the key switch. Let us know when you get it fixed

Thanks JHH. I checked into the ignition switch and that was the problem. Everything is working great.

Glade it is fixed. We put alot of them in that year trucks.
