I know this isn't a farm rig! 1985 El Camino, 60K original miles, automatic, body in great shape but it has original paint; interior ain't bad. One of my nieces has it for sale -- it belonged to her mother's dad, and I knew him, so I know there's no cheating here about what it is. BUT . . . I might consider buying it and flipping it. I'm thinking $2,000-$3,200. It does have a matching/right-style shell on it. Any thoughts? She lives in Seattle and wants a vintage VW bug . . . and I happen to know where there is one. ;)

Not sure about the engine size -- need to check that.

Hi. I don't think your "sure" about much :). They don't make EC any more except in Australia and then they make em with cool options like " stake beds". Your EC prolly is a keeper for sentimental reasons if nothing else. Depending on your purpose for it can be a money pit if you try to make it dependable.

You're right, Kingfisher . . . . need more background. It's a cute/class rig, though.

Down here a nice goes for 5-7k pretty easily. V-8 or 4.3?
Your looking for a new rig maybe you need it :lol2:
Yea, get the G/N ball in there, some overload airbags and we be pimpin at the auction ring for sure! :cboy:
It should be easy to flip if she gets for 2k or so and it has the v-8. I had a 81 GMC caballero(el Camino) with the 4.3 and it was a good economical unit to drive. Sold it too cheap...before they started getting popular.

Government Motors should bring them bad boys back....
