This Murray Grey bull is 18 months old. He weighs 1270 pounds and he has lived on a diet of strictly grass. He is just over 49 inches at the hip, but he carries a lot of muscle. He bred 5 cows this spring; can't wait to see what his calves look like! Thoughts?

I don't have a rump shot on him, but I have attached photos of his sire and dam:

This is the bull when he was 6 months old last year.

This is another calf who was sired by OK Boomer, but this steer's mother was a purebred Guernsey cow. This steer has only eaten grass.

He is shown as a 2 year old.
 
That steer sure don't show any dairy beside the scurs in him! And I wondered why the Murray Greys are not using for commercial operations...
 
We did keep one heifer out of Sadie & hope she does as well as her mom. One of next year's herd sire for us is out of Boomer.
