Yahoo!!! And I love that they beat the Heat! Is anyone outside of Miami actually a Heat fan?

Well I am no kind of bball fan....
but when all the pundits annointed Miami a while back i was a fan fo the other guys whoever they were. took a while but someone finally beat em.....

I will take a team anyday that plays like a team over an aggregation of STARS.

Quit watching after Larry Bird retired, nuthin but a bunch of thugs on most teams these days...and dang it ... the NFL is getting just as bad. Must admit I was tickled pink to see the Heat go into the tank after their behavior

Last night was the first basketball of any kind I've watched in ages. It was good to see the Mavs beat the self proclaimed "dynasty". But HC I agree with you 100% on the "thugs" comment. Seems to be that mentality at just about any level from little dribblers to the pros. By the way, congrats to the Horns Baseball Team. ;-)

Me, too, and that goes for any sport on any level. Don't follow the NBA much, but I follow sports in general so I couldn't help but know what was going on. James, Wade and the rest of them were celebrating championships last spring before they'd even practiced together. That type of thing really sticks in my craw. The old saying "they don't play the game on paper" sure rings true here.

I read that the Governor of Ohio made all the Mavericks "honorary Ohioans".
Heard on news this morning that the City of Dallas said they could not afford a parade for the Mavericks so the owner of the Mavericks is going to pick up the bill. Of course he's about as popular as Jerry Jones which ain't sayin' much.

Heck, John, not only would Cleveland foot the bill for a parade, they'd probably buy the rings, too. :D
