Yeah, that hangaround would hangaround me for several days and it just not worth it.
We were able to cut oats and ryegrass but nothing else cause it just quit raining. I just paid my fertilizer bill yesterday and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. Its getting depressing. I thought last year was bad but this is getting serious. To make matters worse, it will pour 25 - 50 miles in all directions (usually on towns) around us and we can watch the thunderheads but all we will get is a tenth. Everything I do is directly influenced by the weather or commodity prices of which I have absolutely no control. Its beginning to bum me out in a serious way. Heck, I don't even enjoy watching the cows anymore cause all I see is wilted grass.
