For the second time in two years, a goat has escaped captivity and hit the streets. The most recent case involves a goat that found its way to freedom from a farm and slaughterhouse in Tewksbury, Mass., and has since been spotted roaming the nearby city of Lowell. In the four days since its escape, the goat has eluded capture by police and even earned itself a Twitter account.

As Denis Oliveira, the animal’s former keeper, told the local paper: “That goat is crazy.”

Last year, a goat dubbed Sky created similar havoc when it was seen along New Jersey’s Pulaski Skyway. Like the Lowell goat, Sky was believed to have escaped from a slaughterhouse. The story had a happy ending, however: The goat was eventually caught by police and brought to a rescue farm.

A goat here in town, that belonged to a friend of mine got out, and saw its reflection in the neighbors storm door. It butted it, and ended up in the house. The people's estimates of the damage was really really unreasonable, they wanted all new, instead of new door, and steam cleaning. His insurance finally ended up giving the people whaT they wanted. I would quote the figure, but everyone would swear I was a liar. It was astronomical.

I doubt anyone on here would call you a liar, and in this day and age,I wouldn't doubt any thing.. So with that said how much :cowboy:

$26,000.00

New floor coverings, and furniture down stairs.

I would like to comment on this but I'm headed out to catch one of my wife's goats, their out of their pasture, so I'll tie it in front of the glass door so I can remodel our house.

I have liability on my cows. This guy just had a couple horses, and one goat. His homeowners policy ended up paying. I still surprised they did. Maybe a dog, doing damage, but not a goat.
