well i know some people who rent out there bulls to people who got heifers they want to breed. They usually send the bull to the heifer and pick up a month or two later with a paycheck

I would have to go with cattle. elk and bison would be a hassle with the fencing and all. You would need to go buy 2 to three heifers rainging from 2 to 3 years old and then you can either buy a herd bull or choose to AI(artificially inseminate) the heifers. The semen averages at about 20 bucks...

normally we feed a flake a day and theres about 7 flakes in a bale, the coastal i buy is 5.50 a bale and that covers one cow for a week so your looking at around 22.50 a month for one cow.

I live in Florida and for awhile we didn't have rain so bad that the hay people down here had to start breaking round bales up and re-baling them, all are pastures right know are brown and crunch when you walk on them. We are starting to get some showers though, hope some find you too.
