Fair rate to pay someone to check cows

What would be a fair price to pay someone to look after 20 cow calf pairs year around? They would be putting out hay in the winter and keeping minerals out. Also checking them daily to make sure all is good. If something is sick I would take care of that. They live on the place where the cows...

    Solar panel for fence charger

I use this 12 volt charger for a small fence around a pond. It’s in the middle of a field so I can not connect it to the exterior fence that has electric on it. Probably only about 3000 feet of wire.

I bought a set of those about 4 years ago. Worked good for a couple years. Now I can’t get them to calibrate right. Every time you weigh something it’s a different weight.

    Building a lean to roof

I put down geo textile fabric first then 1-2” rock about 4-5” deep then topped it off with what I think is call number 10s. It’s a very small gravel around 1/4” with a lot if lime dust. Going to rent a packer tomorrow and water it down and pack it good and tight.

    Best scale to weigh calves

What is the best brand of scales for weighing cattle? I bought a set of the cheap Os off eBay a few years ago and they have bit the dust and I never really trusted them anyway. Which do you prefer platform scales in the alley or the load cells you can mount under the squeeze chute ? Either one...
