Does anyone know the difference in the green one and the Springer? Both are made by Miller MFG and cost about the same.

How well has the Green Hot Shot held up for you? Does anyone know the differences in the green, red, and yellow dura prod? I've noticed the green, red, yellow dura prod, and yellow Springer are all by Miller MFG.

Has the Springer held up good for you? I've heard they're weaker than the others.

Thats a good question, I was wondering the same thing last week. I have been putting a small amout of legear stock power in there bottle, and it doesn't seem to hurt them.

I have to agree, when younger the sac has less blood flow so it has less feeling. Someone said there's dates in the farmers almanac for castration, but I don't know anything about that.

I understand that, but they had a choice to become a vet or not. He could have just charged for the service, and gave me an option of purchasing the antibiotic. I don't believe that charging more than twice for something will get you anywhere, or anyone's business. But thats just my opinion.

Yea.. She got out of the stall on me when I was putting water, and calf starter in, so I had to catch her anyway I could... Thats why it was on like that...

I was reading one of milkmaid's post and was just wondering is this a hernia, or a ill navel, or just normal? Should I worry about it? She is approx. 5-7 weeks old. This is also the heifer calf that everyone has been helping with.

Gave the jersey bull calf, and holstein heifer there follow up shot, and gave the other jersey bull his first. But when I aspirated the plunger on the two jerseys I only saw air bubbles, then when I did on the heifer I saw blood, so I immediaetly removed it before injecting any, and re-stuck her...
