    Maybe……

Ha! I’ve said some things outloud by myself messing with cows that has made me turn around and make sure no one is standing behind me listening when I KNOW there isn’t anyone behind me!

    Corral Design

Like Brute23 mentioned the alley heading to the crowding tub will be too big for cattle to not turn around some and make them balk at the gate on one side occasionally. Only give them 10-12’ total like the alley on the opposite side. That turn from the load up alley into the 180 degree tub...

    Hydraulic cattle chute

The whole hydraulic chute is hot dip galvanized, whoa nelly that’s nice but surely cannot be cheap? Nice looking chute (or crush as they say down under). Wonder what it would cost to ship one over the big blue?😀

    Get insurance up to date.

Mine was not a diesel Ranger. He thought it was cool after the initial shock was over of seeing it go up!

    Get insurance up to date.

Sorry for your misfortunes. That is BS that a human being would be that heartless of someone else's property. I had to use my farm policy recently when my Polaris caught fire while checking cows with my son. Like stated above review your policy once a year and update it as needed.

Tarter Series 3 Cattle Shute with Head Gate

Sorry you are having the same problem I had with my old Tarter head catch. There is a bolt at the top of the head catch you can screw in to make the automatic gates move in forward that helps some. If you move it too much however the cows sometimes cannot get their heads in the opening. Found a...

    Best places to run cattle?

Agreed. Still really good land throughout Kentucky that won't break the bank IMHO.

Help Newbe With Minimal Corral Design

Based on your experience it sounds like it does work welding it like you described. The original poster mentioned using wood like i did with my first corral and these panels. Even if you staple every inch of the panel it won't hold a 250lb heifer. I think i have a lead on a pile of guard rails...

Help Newbe With Minimal Corral Design

Like Brute already mentioned I'm not a fan of these panels. The welds break all the time and I've had calves literally go right through them. I'd look at oaks boards before those panels.

Help Newbe With Minimal Corral Design

When you say cattle panels what kind are you going to use? Better be heavy duty or they won't last to long IMHO.

    Finishing a Steer

He said 2 lbs gain per day on corn, he never said feeding 2 lbs of corn.
