    Robbed blind...

We are fortunate to have several good feed stores and coops within 30 miles. One 2 miles from the house. They all carry vaccines, bolts, nuts, washers, fencing supplies, ect. Then have an Atwood’s and a TSC about 34 miles away. Buy a lot at Atwood’s. Very little at TSC.

    Apple cider vinegar

I have been told by a PB breeder that you can pour apple cider vinegar on bulls when putting them together. Was told it reduces fighting greatly. Has anyone used it. Do you pour it over the whole body?

We vaccinate anything around 2 months or older. Our vets do also when we take any to them to work. Have done it that way for years.

    Minerals

There are other good minerals out there. In our experience and we have tried at least 5-6 of the major minerals offered in this area Ira Ferm would be the Cadillac the others an small car. Ferappease

I stated earlier when we sold the calves I would post the results we saw and my impressions. I want to state I feel it is a good product for certain situations. I don’t feel it is a miracle drug. I will likely try it in a few specific cases. We watch our costs so any thing we do or use has to...

    Ferappease

The results from the starting kit was very informative. They have processed a very high volume and have weights on treated and untreated home raised and bought calves. The data backed up what we saw.

    Ferappease

I have been told by several producers who process both home raised and bought calves. All have stated that they have found little benefit on home raised calves but have seen benefit on bought calves from a sale barn. Some of these producers process large numbers. One has a starting lot. In our...

Are these cattle they buy or all home raised?

    Ferappease

Lucky it is the same here. The barn owner where we sell most reminds me at least once a year to not get them too fleshy. We have a couple of times and got docked. Sometimes hard to keep from it on good wheat.

Kenny was the signs right on the 5th, 11th or the 20th?
  16. E

    Ferappease

Kenny th That is the reason I hesitate to give an opinion based on the low number we have used it on. I didn’t look at the signs when I weaned the last 2 groups.

    Ferappease

We recently weaned 3 groups. Applied Ferappease to 2 groups. There was 18 head in the first group I applied Ferrappease too. Applied an average of 9.2 cc per calf. Most calves in the 600-725 lb range. The second group was 7 head I applied 12 cc per head. For the 25 head I used 250cc. Also...
