Agree with TB and 3 way worm them cows and put some cake out. tough winter, poorer quality hay (if rained on alot probably closer to straw than hay) trying to grow a calf and have worms. there are alot of things stacked against them girls. if were us i would cake them and pour the hay to them...

nope have to eat it themselves like dun said. we just got done dealing with it at inlaws place and vet said had to drench them 5 days in row is only way to treat the calves and make sure they are consuming enough to get rid of.

35 degrees outside and in a barn calf should not have died from cold by any means. except for the fact if it wasnt eating i guess cause most calves i seen are way colder than that and no barn but they have a belly full of milk and that makes a differnce too. like dun said hard to say.
