    Low temp/ 97.3

The steer is 7 months old. / outside temp here this morn. Was 15 above, calf was weaned 7 days ago, I guess my description of droopy is: last one to come to hay, ears seem to be a bit lower than " normal", but he does eat hay, so not sure what's going on with him?

    Low temp/ 97.3

We weaned a few calves, a week ago, one of the bigger calves is acting a bit droopy, we took his temp, and it's only, 97.3, ( normal is 101) does this mean he could be sick, or just maybe still stressed from weaning,? Would it be a good idea to give him a dose of draxxin?

One of our heifers, we saved this year, we noticed , has a droopy ear, and it looks like clear liquid draining from her ear, is this something that needs. A vet to look at, or maybe it just got hurt from another cow? What's your thoughts?

    Rain scald

This summer our best bull ( it's always the best one who gets hurt), had to be pulled from the herd, and so searching for a replacement, we called a farmer , who had a two year old angus bull, not wanting to take the time to go look at it, we just said, we would buy it, and he agreed to deliver...

Cow down with back legs straight out

When checking our pastures, which we do each morn., we found #6 laying down on her belly with her two back feet straight out, we finally got her to sit upright, but an hour later was back to the original position, we didn't have a bull in there, so have no idea what happened. She would crawl on...

    Baby calf ...can't nurse?

No swelling, and the tongue looks normal, only it sorta hangs out from one side, when we try to put a bottle in its mouth,,,it doesn't wrap it's tongue around the nipple, like it should... But when putting my finger in its mouth, I'm pretty sure it tries to suck.. This has been the worst year...
