    Hay feeder mess?

I haven't compared it, but I did see something when I was looking on the internet about waste that said placing them on their side caused less waste. Don't ask me if that is true, because the articles are all over the board on the waste issue. Edit: I found it in my computer history, "More...

    Hay feeder mess?

Here is one. Here is another. I looked into this some time ago. The most efficient way to feed is using skirted cone feeders. Only about 3.5% waste with those. I want to build one of these, but probably never will.

    Solar Fence Charger

The folks down under, where Ken is located, make some darn good chargers. Stayfix used to have a 64-joule model I wanted. I believe Stafix was acquired by Speedrite and they discontinued the Stafix brand. Speedrite charges are very good too. I have a couple of their fence testers.

As Lucky_P said, the fence will act as good ground as long as the soil stays damp. It will not work so well when it gets dry. I will be seeing Butch this week. I will tell him you said hello.
