Probably red with some ear and sheath on the bulls/ steers . In N Alabama you’d take a beating on the calves . In Texas I’d think you’d do well on them .

Not a baldie but our gurula heifer , mom looks Hereford but not purebred and out of our black angus bull . First calf heifer. It's a heifer calf , sort of a chocolate .

Kind of a surprise, momma half Hereford, half angus, bred back to an angus bull . All the other calves have been solid black . 2 more heifers calved on the same day .

Wrong calves birthday , Feb 22 is her daughter’s calf . This dude is 4 months . Not tagging calves is killing me .

2 months , I have down Feb 22 as his birthday

There are 14 babies 👶 in that group

Got this today during the eclipse. Ours wasn’t much and with a thin cloud cover we only got a few glimpses . I guess these babies got out of school to watch .

The problem I run into is with young bulls it’s all a prediction, not set in stone . Till you get calves on the ground it’s more based on his dam and sire . I think you still have to look at the animal, look at his feet and hope the seller hasn’t run a ton of feed through him .

Sounds like a twin . You never know with buzzards especially the black headed ones . It might have been dead and they might have killed it ?
