when this calf was born he was solid red and has now turn 'tiger striped' but he has a red simmental bull sire and a char. simm cross mother???? maybe somewhere WAY WAY back in his mom's lines she has some brahman/ hereford in her....his hooves are also a different color than we normally get...

Doesn't seem like we ever get docked on our prices for the painted calves...but I don't know for sure b/c I only have 2 cows that are MINE (still working on building my herd up, lol) and I don't really look at my dad's or grand dad's prices....but they've never said anything before about getting...

We have a Simmental cross heifer that had blue eyes when she was born but they turned to brown in about 2 months I THINK, maybe not that lond but maybe longer I can't really remember...but now they are normal looking and you woulda never known.

Are they walking around a race track for exercise?
