I have 6 heifers I will be breeding this fall and have been looking a OMF Epic from ST Genetics. Just wanted to see if anyone on here has used him to see how the calves turned out and If the sexed semen had a good conception rate ?

Been looking at doing the same. ABS and Select Sires are $50 ST genetics has several options but I don’t see their prices listed I guess you must have to just call them to get a price.

Thanks she is my favorite heifer out of this group. These Simmental calves seem to always have plenty of hair as babies but shed it off in the spring. Usually they don`t hair up as much the next year but as with all breeds there are some blood lines that have more hair than others.

Took this today. I`m pretty happy with the way she`s coming along. She`s a Boulder her dam is a Bandwagon and her Grandam is a Built Right.

I didn`t want to hijack the thread below but I really like the Boulder bull too. This heifer is a Boulder out of a Bandwagon cow that has done well with her calves and they are always puppy dog tame which in my opinion worth a lot.

Jeanne he was born 9-10 so 43 days old. We had 3 Declaration calves born that day. The 2 black cows had red calves and the red cow had this black calf.

Well I took her to the vet today and he checked her and said she has all the parts and he didn`t see any reason she won`t be a breeder. I guess I will try her with a cidr and see if that will work. The 5 others I took with her all checked good to the A.I date so overall a good day.

We have 2 bull calves by TJ Main Event. They are very calm calves with good growth and a good look. I will definitely be using him again.

I used On the Mark on 2 but they`re not due till this fall. I`m hoping for some fancy heifers but we all know how that goes.

They can get any of the Cattle Visions bulls too . If you`re getting something from ABS , Select Sires or Genex your local rep can deliver it and you save the $80-$90 shipping.

I`ve used Bull Barn before they`ve been great to deal with. If they don`t have it they can get it pretty easily from Cattle Visions I think they get a shipper from them pretty regularly so it doesn`t add to the cost.
