    Space storm alert

More info on this. It behooves us as producers to be as independent as possible in order to survive what gets thrown at us. http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2009 ... eather.htm

    You're Confederate ... But Don't Know It?

We Farmers and Ranchers should set an example- Give back or decline all the bribe money we have coming to us via the Farm Bill. I won't hold my breath. I am proud of all my ancestors, been here since 1635. They fought on both sides in the 1860's war and got over it. We can talk about losing...

    HR 875 Be very afraid

Here is someones opinion from another site. The more I read it, the more I realize if enacted I will be shut down. The sad part is, the future was looking up. Concern is building among the public about there food. The market for the independent farmer has not been this good in years. We can sell...

    HR 875 Be very afraid

I posted about this on the no politics board. Not much interest. If this passes I'll be out of the food production business. Thanks Hoss for bringing it up again. I hope folks will take the time to research this very important set of bills. The gov will not listen to me, I only grow food. We...

    God bless Texas

Would you consider flushing three times or even four. Right now your two flushes aren't getting down here. And we could use the water. :D

    How much do you produce

I'd guess we are growing about 75% of our food needs. We have no dairy. We try to buy as much dairy from a local farm as possible. We go to the grocery store to buy things we can not grow, like toilet paper. Our Thanksgiving was 100% off the farm.

    Where does it go????????

Sewer sludge is not allowed in organic production. You could call it all natural :D

    Where does it go????????

Interesting subject. As far as your drinking water goes, you need to be concerned about everything else. Mature waste is the least of the problem. Nature has a system in place to break down the mature. Nature is having a hard time breaking down the man made substances,ie most if not all drugs...

    DTV

Seems that the digital signal is not as strong. I would rather have a snowy picture than a picture with missing parts and broken sound. Those of us on an antenna are in the minority and have been sweep under the rug. And folks want the gov to fix health care, when they can not keep a TV signal...

    Contaminated Honey from China

This has not made the national news. When are we going to open our eyes. I try not to buy any food products from China. But ingredients are often hidden. This past year we were able to produce over 50% of our own food. We had a 100% on our farm raised Thanksgiving...
