Baled Corn Stalks, mineral, and what else?

Most all I have read suggests adding DDG. How should this be fed? On top of stalks in the bale ring or in a feed trough? Thanks for the help here all.

Baled Corn Stalks, mineral, and what else?

Do you think a protien lick tub would work as well as range cubes? I know I should be chopping the bales and adding DDG or Glutten, but do not have the chopper do the job right, so working on Plan B. Keep the help coming, I am thankful.

    Roasted Corn??

Dont quote me on this as I am not sure I have it 100% correct, but he was talking about the roasting process breaking down the cell walls in the corn, thus more digestable.

    Roasted Corn??

Local feed place is convinced that roasted corn is the only way to go in feeding cattle. We are raising holstein bottle calves up to 500 -/+lbs As I have ZERO experince with roasted corn, what do others say or think about it? Worth a premieum?
