    Guernsy Meat?

    Did a guy a favor (he needed money, badly) bought his Guernsy steer about 450# for $200. Never dealt with these before. Meat good/bad? He's in great body condition, hasn't missed a meal, you could say. Any input from the meat gurus?

    Sheesh, not good. How hot was it in the trailer? Are you sure he wasn't as "lively" as you thought when you picked him up? Labored breathing, had to be panting with fever that high. I would have done the NuFlor, and kept up the Banamine every 3-4 hours, but sometimes you just can't win.
