    "Bad" Batch of feed

I know how long this feed has been sitting there- about 60 days, I have some in my barn made about a week before that & it looks great. This is an independent place that has its own mill rather than a distributor of something made elsewhere. My concern is that if they stuff available for sale is...

    "Bad" Batch of feed

Yes, I am pretty much done with this dealer. Now it is just a matter of getting this junk picked up & getting my money back. My time spent dealing with this definitely worth another few bucks a bag. To mess with me is one thing, to mess with my critters is another.......... Thanks for the input.

    Heifer Development

Pretty heifers- great job on them. I would guess them to weigh at least 900. They look similar in frame & shape of my heifers & they weighed 900 at the 1st of the year. Now the fun begins, to pick a bull or bulls for them. Good luck with them.

    california bander

California bander/ Calicrate bander= same concept. I have used both & got the same results. I will definitely agree that it isn't pretty after a few weeks & it doesn't smell so good either. I always wonder how there aren't more problems when folks use them in the summer with the flies/maggots...

    creep feeder

I have 2 great Elk River creeps(650lbs cap.) that I'm very happy with. They were hard to get in my neck of the woods but not too terribly $$$$$. We just started using them & they're working great. If you need dimensions, I can get some back to you. I have some very determined cows & they have...

    fly control

We also have a small herd- 10 & growing, but likewise tend to have lots of flies in the summer months. We do use tags & rotate brands each year, but they need to be replaced a couple times during the season & are not supposed to be used on young calves. I've hearing about the licks by Sweetlix...
