I tried to find out how much corn is in a ton of the Country Road Cattlemen's Feed.
The only information I got was that it contains 8% Corn Chop.
I'm trying to avoid using a hot feed. Is Corn Chop less of a problem than whole corn or cracked corn?
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for all the info. I was concerned about used feeders because of rust.
Lucky,
There's a feed place that doesn't bag feed. Usually, people load barrels but some have creep feeders they load from above.
I don't know if that is what you mean.
I live in Florida and I am thinking about buying a creep feeder. I'm thinking about a 3 ton to feed cows.
What's a good brand? What's a good deal?
One guy I spoke to said he regretted not buying galvanized.
Is there anywhere you can get good used creep feeders?
Thanks to my Texas friends...
Calf-Manna brings back memories. It has really hung around for a long time.
I'll have to go to Rural King and get some. When I raised horses it was Wheat Germ Oil.
I have Tractor Supply and Rural King so I will see about the SRB and flaxseed.
Thanks again for all...
I have some yearling Angus bull calves and a couple have some dull coats.
They have been dewormed and are on a quality show feed.
I have been looking at some Sun Glo products and Healthy Coat.
I don't have the facilities to brush them. Any thoughts?
