    bulls not gaining

Yearling Bulls ought to be weighing 900+ So you dont need a 15% ration thats a little too hot and you can burn the papillae off the inner lining of the rumen wall which I have seen a few rookies do in the past. 900 - 1000 lb bulls They need 2.1 TP 15 x .15 x .9 = 2.03 you need a little bit...

    Reasonably Priced Feed Mix? Suggestions?

how heavy are your steers? 14% @ 5 lbs = 0.70 x TDN of 0.9 ~ 0.63 Corn @ 9% and 88 % TDN is 0.08 x 5 lbs = 0.4 So you are giving them 1.03 lbs or TP per day in Feed Say they weigh 600 lbs now they will consume about 8 more pounds of grass hay so if it is CBH that would be about 0.5 more lbs...

I realize you are a few fries short of a happy meal with the education being what it is in your area, but you are so ignorant you didn't even know that to keep the rumen active a "ruminant animal" needs at leat 20% of their diet to be in forage--- and since this person probably had hay as most...
