    I agree. I never have any problems with working calves through a Bud box but my cows are a different story. Most will go through just fine but a handful of them are a pain . And it seems the more the cows go through the more they refuse to.

    It’s not a knot but I have been using gripples a lot lately. They are fast and if you ever need to tighten up the wire it’s easy to.

    I think it would work good. Iam rebuilding my alley way. Using post every 4 ft and making it 6 ft tall I bought a bunch of 2x8 s from someone on Craigslist cheap. . My cows sure like to jump 🙄

    I guess it depends on if your cows are used to electric fence. I rotational graze so my cows respect electric fence. I use the plastic step in post and one strand of polybraid. I put post about every 20 ft. But if yours are not use to electric then you might want to put your post closer and...

    It really depends on what you put in it but it is considered a 3 ton bin. I PM you the info on the man that I bought both bins from.

    When I poured the pad for mine the man that I bought my bin from that sets them up said to pour at least a 6” pad. The smaller bin I got I just bolted to rail road ties and usually leave the loader bucket on the end of the ties.

    Nothing is more aggravating than not being able to catch all the cows and calves at one time when you want to.
