I was just curious if anyone has ever tried it. A friend of mine told me he did. If it works on vegetables it should work on grass.

You can buy it by the box and mix it in a sprayer, but is it economical?

Has anyone ever sprayed Miracle Grow on their pasture? If so how did it do. Is it economical, etc?

We finally got some much needed rain in East Texas in the last few days. This should really help out going into Spring.

Anyone ever use chicken litter on there rye grass and if not what other fertilize would be good. I had a pasture planted with rye grass a couple of years ago and put chicken litter on it and man it really grew good. Just wondering if anyone else used the stuff.

Congratulations, don't let the rest of these guys kid you they wouldn't be here if they didn't love being around the cows themselves. Sometimes it's not all about the money. It is about doing something you love.

Never heard of the Red River Crabgrass. I know the bahia grass will be hard to get rid of, but will it be worth it in the long haul.

I don't take much of what a weather man says these day as they have predicted for the last 2 years that the Gulf would be more active with hurricanes then they have. Just my opinion. It is hard for anyone to predict weather in the South especially around the Gulf.

I am clearing the woods out of that pasture, so only have of it will be were the Bahia was. Are you saying it will be a waste of time.

Can anyone around East Texas tell me the best grass to plant for hay. I have Bahia in about an 8 acre pasture now, but would like a higher protein grass if possible.
