Winter Rye - no rain in sight

I drilled before the rain from the hurricane hit and the wheat and rye shot right up but its dry as a bone now. Thank god for heavy dews but I dont think it'll last much longer without rain. As luck would have it I drilled more this year than any other, lol.

    Oats or Rygrass?

By drilling your pasture you aerate your soil which will help your grass tremendously.

    Winter Pasture

Need some input on a good winter pasture. I'm located in Arkansas and we have about two months of daytime highs of about 45-50 degress along with 30's at night and occasional colder nighttime temps. I tried winter wheat last year but it stayed pretty dormant. Any suggestions?
