    Where are you, and what do you have for a water source? (lake , pond, well) Water rights? Irrigating at night is much more efficient than fighting the wind and sun during the day.

    How do you plan to seed it? Drill or broadcast? Ryegrass is excellent forage, would be nice if you could let it get to 3" before grazing.
