    I called this week for pricing on KY31 to add in with ryegrass for feeding area cleanup. It ranges from $80.00 to $90.00 for 50# bag. Gone are the days of $40.00 per bag. And have not been able to obtain Kobe Lespedeza in several years. Why is there such a problem with this.

    It is a great idea, but i will say i have not had very good luck with Crimson in the spring , if any clover is spread in spring i will frost seed White or Red in mid to late February.

    I rotate on the 50 acres I own and do not on the 50 acres I rent. I would agree that rotating is the way to go. I rotate based on forage height and amount and not set days, I have found this to work better that a set time frame. Remember you are a grass farmer and the cattle are the way to...
