    Let the unrolling begin..

What size roll? Too hilly here to use the side by side on 4 x 5 rolls. It would pull it, but it wouldn't stop it.

    Let the unrolling begin..

I’m not bashing Mr Judy, but the one I have, seems easier to use. It’s a one man job.

    Let the unrolling begin..

I have a similar rig (Hay B Gone), pull it with an 8n Ford. Never leaves a track. My side by side is pretty wimpy.

    Feeding Hay

I have watched that guy some. He came to that party with no clue. He doesn't really run enough head to make it work. To address your statement, my heart goes out to somebody in a drought. When I was a kid, droughts put us out. It really had an influence on me. It wasn't that far removed...

    Pastures

I'm close to you. I had a place that joined me rented for many years (45 acres). Guy just kept going up. I shoulda got out at $50 and didn't. When he went to $70 i left. Been 3 years, and it's still not rented. My happy number was $35.

    Autumn olive leaves

Naw, these look like small cherries. Hadn't been around here too terribly long.

    Autumn olive leaves

Wow, a few are kinda nice. I guess there is no such thing as a few.

    Autumn olive leaves

Are autumn olive leaves dangerous (when they wilt)?

    Grazing cover crops/row crops

I like to go wheat followed by SS. I got some really nice hay ground given to me last year, and I think as long as I have that, I won't be doing the wheat SS any more.

Cut Bermuda for hay after frost

I can't give an answer to that question, but I'll offer something to consider. Could cutting that late slow down the regrowth in the spring? I don't know the answer to that, but it's what popped in y head when I read your post.

    Army worms again

Hit here once. Never knew that was a thing here in west Ky.

    Drought Hay Pricing ?

Personally, I’d sell cows before I gave those prices for hay. I realize a seed stock producer doesn’t have that flexibility. People here run backwards at $30 for a 4 x 5 roll. One of my rolls would work out to $75 a ton at that price. You just can’t sell it that cheap. To answer the...

    Spraying hay field

If we’re talking about spraying 2fourd now, my weeds are too mature for it to much good. I’d move up the chemical spectrum. Remedy grazon. 2fourd works best for me when weeds are really young and succulent.

    Boom less sprayer calibration.

Most chemicals I use call for 20 gallons to the acre.

    Spray lime

    I’d have to say no.

    First generation farmer.

Just throwing this out ther. This week, and remember it's just Thursday. I've had a blown head gasket, a new radiator, 4 tractor tires, and $350 in fuel. All of those kinds of expenses are hard to calculate.

    Needing a spray rig

I’ll post this every time the subject comes up.

What to do, what to do?

I thought of that, but this was a stout wind. Ripped some barn doors off. They can’t make one indestructible

What to do, what to do?

I’ve always told “myself” quality drops fast by June 15th. I also tell “myself” this is my year to really shine. Never works, but I like to hear it.

What to do, what to do?

Were talkinin over 200 rolls. I'm feeling unstack, and stack back myself, but I'm not finished with my first cutting yet. I think my 3rd 3" rain is out there now. Been at a stand still here for weeks. Getting my first off this late, there may be no second if it turns off dry. One loader...
