Here is a POSSIBLE steer for next year. Our county fair is in late June. So this is the ONLY homebred steer we have this year (heifers..what can I say???) that would fall into that time frame and possibly work out well. He was born during the blizzard that hit Indiana. Feb. 14 valentines day...

Same here kinda. I was there, but I went down to show dairy goats. I did get to watch some of the cattle on the internet though. I did get to watch the National Jersey show. That was great!

Isn't it amazing what a little TLC and a shave job can do. I would agree with aplusmnt about her being a little deeper in the flank, but that will come with time. She looks like a REALLY nice sleeper. Just give her a few months and should looks like she will wow.
