No we did not. Her breeder was John Mayer. Then I bought her from a small 4-H/FFA family that had her since last July.

Due in mid September. I can talk to my vet and see what they say. I didn't know you could trim that far along. I do agree she needs them done!

I am a real newby to showing cattle.. How much will her topline count her off and what is actually wrong with it. To me, it just doesn't seem very strong and it looks kind of "bumpy." Is that pretty accurate? She is a very wide heifer, also. I will try to get a head on shot and one from behind...

I will be talking with him Tuesday about the ownership issue. The 2 year option for breeding the heifer and the rentee keeping the calf is an option to think of. I will be asking him if he would be interested in this.
