    What do you think?

No we did not. Her breeder was John Mayer. Then I bought her from a small 4-H/FFA family that had her since last July.

    What do you think?

Due in mid September. I can talk to my vet and see what they say. I didn't know you could trim that far along. I do agree she needs them done!

    What do you think?

I am a real newby to showing cattle.. How much will her topline count her off and what is actually wrong with it. To me, it just doesn't seem very strong and it looks kind of "bumpy." Is that pretty accurate? She is a very wide heifer, also. I will try to get a head on shot and one from behind...

    What do you think?

This is my new Limousin/Angus/Charolais heifer. Born Nov. 21, 2009. She is bred and due to calve in late September. What do you think of her as a show heifer? Light weight with 20 foot extension cord and about 6 foot hose. On sale here in Houston, TX for $49!! Best deal I have...

I will be talking with him Tuesday about the ownership issue. The 2 year option for breeding the heifer and the rentee keeping the calf is an option to think of. I will be asking him if he would be interested in this.

    Rent-A-Heifer?

This breeder also said he wants to get his name out. I will talk with him about how the winnings would be split. It seems like a win/win situation for me and the breeder. I really think this will work out!! Thanks everyone for all your information!!

    Rent-A-Heifer?

Hey, I have a question about a situation I am in. In my search for a show heifer, I came across a breeder who would let me rent his heifer for free, show her, then give her back after I am finished (or possibly purchase). Has anyone ever offered this or done this themselves. I am finding the...
