    You're right MWJ but if you are selling your cows which would you rather see them start at 20 cents or 70 cents per pound. You might be lucky and they would let your cows go for all that they could get, but I see them cut them off short of what they could bring if they kept going with them. I've...

    Determining starting price

    At sales how do they determine the starting price? I've noticed that the regular sellers cows start 20 to 50 cents per pound more than folks that only sell once in a while. I've attended a few different sales and it seems to be the same. Horses too.
