    Ford 3415 PTO

Yeah he called it right and I’m glad that’s all it was. I had no idea what I was about to get into. Never been inside a tractor. Now to get it back together.

    Ford 3415 PTO

And here is the problem. Looks like the roll pin worked it’s way out of the shaft that engages the PTO.

    Ford 3415 PTO

Well I won the my second dumb @$$ award for the day. I found the nut I missed and it came right off.

    Ford 3415 PTO

It’s sticking under where the hyd valve is mounting. The seal has broke from the rear all around the left side and about half up the right side and most of the front. For now I’m gonna keep wiggling it around and hope it’s just the gasket/seal sticking.

    Ford 3415 PTO

I got the lift cover mostly broke loose. It’s hanging up on the right front of the cover. I don’t want to break anything and I have no idea if something is connected or the gasket is sticking. The service manual I bought is not the correct machine and I cannot find one. Any ideas? Looking at the...

    Ford 3415 PTO

I tried mowing today before rain tomorrow. Took off to the pasture mowing the side of the road because I cannot disengage and as soon as I turn to go down the fence line guess what, the PTO disengaged and now I cannot get it to engage. There has got to be something inside the case that has...

    Ford 3415 PTO

Thanks for adding the post and I will follow it. The tractorforum issue is opposite of what I’ve got. My clutch is operating good just can’t disengage at the lever. After messing with it a little bit I’m starting to think something internal may be “slipping” and not really engaging/disengaging...

    Ford 3415 PTO

It’s got 944 hrs on it. Yes it seems like something with the lever but I have no clue what is on the inside of this thing. On the outside everything seems fine.

    Ford 3415 PTO

I was doing some light mowing yesterday with a Ford 3415 and 5’ cutter. I had engaged and disengaged PTO multiple times no issues. When I finished mowing I noticed the PTO didn’t disengage. The clutch will disengage just not the lever. I also notice the lever will travel further than normal. It...

    Kawasaki 610 Voltage

Was wondering what you found out about this?

    Kawasaki 610 Voltage

I'm not an electrical guru. I haven't had problems on the lawn tractor. Only reason I checked voltage, was my brother borrowed it and claimed it wasn't charging. It was charging. He wasn't turning the key to off. I don't know why they designed the key to go from off, to lights, to run, to start...

    Kawasaki 610 Voltage

May be correct. I was surprised my 20hp lawn tractor was 16.5v at full throttle. Seemed high to me but was told it's normal.

    Duramax Shocks

Bilsteins 5100 series are the only shocks I have found to give the best ride. Anything else the front end would bounce and even worse towing.

looks like Tx may get rid of their private vehicle safety inspections

Scary the gubment is doing something logical. The article suggests these "silent killers" as ball joints, tie-rods and rusty brake lines... I have never seen these inspected. All they do here is check brake function, lights and horn.

    Leaky toolbox

:lol2: that's the issue I'm having. I recently learned not to keep a tub of gojo hand cleaner in my box. What a mess.

Down grade my current vehicle or keep driving it?

Dually is expensive to run if its not needed. If its feasible, I would likely downgrade. Seems most people with a Tacoma are happy with them.

Anyone use or would you trust this?

Does anyone else wait until the change oil light comes on? That's what I do now.

Anyone use or would you trust this?

We had a Ford V10 at work and the mechanic used 15w40 synthetic, like the diesels, and burnt up the valve train because it wouldn't lift the oil to the top of the engine. I believe it was supposed to run 5w30
