I have a couple deep cycle marine batteries that I need to keep charged up and aren’t always easy to get a charger to. Have any of you used one and if so how well did it work? Any particular brand or feature to look at? Also how much do they actually charge with good sunlight? Appreciate your help.

Did you use a Ford thermostat? I had a F150 do something similar and I replaced the thermostat same problem. Had several mechanics tell me that those Triton motors you have to use a OEM thermostat. Not sure why. Sold the truck before I got a chance to switch it again so can’t say if it worked...

That load would be probably about 20,000# on the trailer plus truck and trailer so maybe 36-37,000# total would be close I suspect. That trailer is only 32’ so 12 rolls plus the tractor.

I may catch flak for it but my answer is go get it. Flag the corners and haul it in the daylight. Saturday if you can. I pulled one from NC to VA that way 150 mi. A lot of them are made where the tongue and axle folds up easy so setting it on side is pretty easy and safer.

Yes they work pretty good. I have one just like it made by CID. As long as you don’t go hanging big logs out one side of it they hold up pretty good.
