i know its a bit late for breeding, but we just got her in may and i didn't want her calving within a month before or soon after our state show in march, thanks 4 the assurance and the blood test idea, im going to check it out. :D :D Sarah

sorry for posting a question that i am pretty sure i know the answer to, but in this heat weve been having all sorts of trouble getting one to catch. i have a show heifer who was 21 days after breeding today. No signs of her even thinking bout coming in, and she usually likes the 19 th day. so...

i agree plenty of rib and capacity, nice muscling and an overall cool design. get her a neck sweat and it will help her a little up front. not that she desperately needs it. whats the pedigree???

simmental people(well me personally) try to avoid the white because some people associate it with fleckveigh. i like a bald or blaze face, and some white on the feet sometimes helps to add a look of heavier bone, but underneath it just really makes them look flanky and strange. by the way...

in your opinion, would a heifer 33 days bred be ok to take to a sho for three days. i know people say "if they are going to catch they are and if they aren't they aren't" but i just worry about her loosing it or something. thanks

i'll work on it. we're supposed to be getting a new camera this week. would a pic. of him as a 2month old do any good?

it is just that scraggly hair they get underneath. the white makes him look really sloppy sheathed.
