She weigh 259 final live weight. The limit for our fair is 310,otherwise they're just too big.And the marshmallows are a good idea,I'll have to remember that! Some people use whips around me too,I just know canes are very popular.

That makes alot of sense, I'll talk to my dad about what kind of feed to put her on. Personally what do all of you prefer Purina as a brand or Nutrena? Those are the two main cattle feeds in my area.

Well that's when the 4H season starts by me so that's when I have to start keeping my records for finances,and also that's when the grass starts to die cause it doesn't rain as much. But with the way we're not getting any rain,she might be put on feed sooner... thanks again for the comments guys!

I found out she is registered. She's only on hay and the pasture right now,hopefully we'll get some rain cause like the rest of the south we're in a horrible drought. Around August/September she'll be put on feed. Thanks again guys,keep the critiques coming,I'm still learning!

thanks!It's funny cause the fair was in March and in January she got sick,she had an extremely high fever,diarreah,wouldn't eat,would barely move.But she bounced back quick once she finally recovered. I really miss her cause she had an awesome personality too.But I'm looking forward to this...

I'm still learning too :) Fortunately,many of my friends show heifers so I have connections.Also Katrina was shown along side her mother when she was a weanling (I think) and they placed first. As for weight,it's a work in progress.

I know what you mean,he used to be a cow horse and went to some big shows,but now he stays away from the paparazzi (and cows) on trail rides. 8)
